Denise Brandon

denise-brandon-headshots-33_pp2-1DENISE RATLIFF BRANDON is a native Durhamite who received her education in the Durham Public Schools.  She has a Bachelor of Arts Degree from North Carolina Central University in Foreign Language and is a graduate of the University of North Carolina Chapel Hill School of Banking.

She became a member of Iota Phi Lambda Sorority, Inc in January 1998.  Since her induction, she has served in numerous positions on the local, regional and national levels. She currently serves as Regional Director of the Southern Region, a national position she has held since July 2015.  On the chapter level, she has served as Dean of Intake, 1st Vice President and President.  She continued her leadership responsibilities while serving as Regional Treasurer, Assistant Regional Director and Soror of the Year.  Her national endeavors included serving as national treasurer for four years.  She has held membership in various civic and professional organizations including the Black Women’s Agenda, the National Council of Negro Women and has served on several non-profit boards in the Durham Community.

She aspires to become a mentor for young sorors and provide professional growth and development with the hope of preparing them for leadership positions.

She is a member of Antioch Baptist Church where she serves in various capacities.

She enjoys reading, spending time with her sons, grandchildren and great-granddaughter.
